It is my goal to provide patients with exceptional dental education that enhances their understanding of dentistry to optimize their quality of life.
Education
Dr. Piha Graduated from the University of Central Florida, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Pre-Clinical Health Sciences. Dr. Piha attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine’s School of Dentistry in Sarasota, Florida where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. During Dr.Piha’s last year of dental school he practiced in an outreach clinic in Erie, PA, where he provided dental care to the under-served rural areas.
Life And Hobbies
Throughout dental school, Dr. Piha was involved with the American Student Dental Association, where he was a committee member that helped combat and solve issues that many dental students typically face. Dr. Piha was also a member of Alpha Omega, a professional Jewish Dental Fraternity . Currently, Dr Piha is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Greater Houston Dental Society.
Dr. Piha grew up on the gulf coast of Florida in a small island town, where he spent his free time fishing and boating. In dental school, Dr. Piha met his future wife and the two tied the knot in Houston in April 2019.
When he isn’t providing care to patients, Dr. Piha can be found spending time with his two pups and wife, traveling, and enjoying the diverse food and culture Houston offers.
Dr. Tu Doan, DDS

Education
Dr. Doan is a proud alumni from University of Texas at Houston’s Health Science Center where he received his doctorate of dental surgery. Although he graduated, Dr. Doan continues his education by taking coursed to perfect the art of dentitstry. He is urrently an active member most major dental orginizations including ADA, GHDS, TDA, and a contestant for a Fellowship in AGD.
Life And Hobbies
Dr. Doan is a father to two adorable French Bulldogs that pre-occupies most of his time.
He spends his spare time taking Continuing Educational courses and advancing his knowledge in dentistry. When he can get a couple minutes of relaxation, a good book is his preferred choice of R&R. As a self proclaimed foodie, he is passion about the food and all things culinary. He travels the world exploring and chasing exotic cuisine.

Dr. Chang, who is highly technology-driven, tries to keep up with all the latest technological developments and utilize them in his dental practice. Smile Avenue Family Dentistry has constantly encouraged him in these activities and provided him the opportunities to keep learning and providing the best possible dental care to their clients. Dr. Chang has been in the world of dentistry for 12 years and plans to continue keeping himself updated with all the new technologies and keep providing the best dental care services to his patients.
